This application is made by medical students for medical students and other health professionals.
The main use of this app is for medical students that are familiarizing with the style of questions required during real patient encounters and during Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs).
The content of this app can be useful as well for health professionals such as doctors, nurses and social workers since all questions are translated to Spanish and contain the option to listen to the translation. The content of this application does not substitute the importance to include professional translators in the care of the patient. This is useful for practice, as well as to communicate with Spanish speaking patients when no translators are available.
One of the things that make this application different compared to others in the market is that includes phrases that are highly recommended to use during medical school history taking exams, and that it includes topics less commonly offered by translation services but that are equally important for patient care, such as Intimate Partner Violence, Empathy, and Patient Centered approach questions throughout the interview.
